Connections

Connections allow you to configure and manage integrations with external services. Here you can create and manage those connections which can then be used in the appropriate tasks across many endpoints.

Connections are outbound

Connections control how your endpoints call other systems. To control who can call your endpoint, see Endpoint Authentication. The Key Concepts page compares the two.

Prerequisites

Working with connections requires the following permissions in AireIdentity:

Permission	What it allows
list:Connection	See the Connections page and the list of connections
view:Connection	Open a connection to see its details
create:Connection	Create a new connection
edit:Connection	Change an existing connection
delete:Connection	Remove a connection

Available connection types

• Client Credentials
• Office 365 Mail
• JWT Bearer
• Delegate Exchange: call downstream APIs as the user who called the endpoint
